Rush Studio: Pulp Pantry
Showcasing Sustainability Snack-i-fied
Meet Pulp Pantry
For this installment of our Rush Studio product showcases, we have chosen Pulp Pantry, a brand that seeks to be a beacon for tasty snacks made with sustainable, nutritious and often otherwise wasted ingredients.
A Deeper Dive
Pulp Pantry has a very respectable objective, one that we at Rush heavily admire and relate to. According to Pulp Pantry's research, humans waste approximately 40% of our food, and of that percentage, nearly 40% consists of fruits and vegetables. Pulp Pantry works against this by utilizing the pulp produced by juice manufacturers who would normally, and unfortunately, throw it all away.
By doing this, Pulp Pantry claims to have saved over 17,000,000 liters of water from being wasted, as well as over 500,000 square feet of cropland for celery and kale, their chips' main source of fiber. On top of all of this, they also help to ensure people have a healthier alternative for snacking that provides some much needed nutrition, especially fiber.
They also even help fight climate change, as one of the top contributors of methane within landfills is food. By utilizing all of these byproducts that would otherwise wind up in said landfills, they prevent a portion of this methane from being produced.

The Snack Stack
When brainstorming for this shoot, Chris C had one thing he absolutely wanted to do in the video, stack the chips. From the start, he wanted to stack the chips and take a big bite, so that's what he did, and it was glorious. Other than that, this was a very straightforward, simple shot. With one camera move, some animated text and music, the video is complete.
