An Intro to the Latex R2000
When it comes to large format printing, we look to our two HP Latex R2000 Printers, otherwise known as “Latex 1 and 2”. These sibling printers can print on substrates as wide as 8 feet, and see the most use at Rush out of all our printers. One of our newer additions to the family, these printers definitely carry their own, and continue to help us assist our clients with their advertising, signing, and any other large format projects they come to us for.
An Extended Color Gamut and Enhanced Protection
These machines boast the use of both Light Cyan and Light Magenta inks to achieve an extended color gamut, as well as white ink, allowing us to print on substrates that are clear, black, or a solid color as opposed to being limited to only opaque white materials. On top of this, these printers also utilize a special overcoat that gets applied over the art as it prints. This overcoat acts as a barrier to protect the prints from fingerprints, scratches and whatever else may endanger the integrity of the print.
